For those of you that might be interested in this kind of thing, Colonel Bubby's military surplus is also located on the road along the seawall and is supposed the have a lot of stuff. I think that I am going to try and stop by there beforehand and pick up a tool bag and see if they have anything I need for X-mas for my M715

BTW guys if you all can get a lil bit of wood together I didn't have enough in my back yard with out cutting down a few trees, for firewood.

I will bring what I have though, just wasn't sure if we were gonna be able to get enough off the beach to keep a good fire going for two days.

I belive I have returned all RSVP's and PM's about phone numbers, so far I have everyone's number that is going/or meeting up.

I would recomend that you guys might wanna read back through the first pages and fourth print out any maps and such, and make lists for what your gonna bring (I be the postie note king ).

An added note, although the weather can change at ANY TIME, it will always be windy out there on the coast, bring warm clothes and bedding.

It has also be brought to my attention about recovery gear, if you just bring what you have I belive between all of us we be just fine.

Well I better get off here and finish working on my rig so I can be ready myself.

I am so jealous. This looks like an awesome trip. Virginia is just to far away. Please take lots of pictures/videos and a detailed trip report would be nice.

Yeah, I need to take the video and the digital cameras. This could be a total learning experience. Maybe I should take notes as well. Tape all the conversations over the radios? Dang, wish I had some of Stic-O's cameras to place on everyone's trucks when they aren't looking...

But on a more serious note, I'm going to work on the truck this weekend, clean out all the crap that is in it, try and attempt an alignment, see if i cant get rid of some of the 8 or so trouble codes, etc etc etc. But really I'm a nice, normal person..... Home schooling for Rachel? Think about it.. teach her about physics mathematics, etc on the trails. Then again I don't think Sue would approve.

Just browse for Offroad discussion/trips section and looks at the photos of Doug. You'll see many whoops situations. Then again I have a few too.. I think my shorts are still stained from those almost two flops at Paragon.

Hell we created a parking lot in a parking lot with our rigs that everyone stopped by and was asking us question.

We drank alcohol (not beer) from 11am till 7pm, and picked up some cute girl and some of her friends.

Went wheeling with her and her firends (they had a Sammi and a knobby tired golf cart) till some 9pm at night, on thier property that was made into a MX track.

Ate and called it a night.


He was cool as hell to hang out with, he's my kinda people

Hell yeah I intend on bringing the digital still/video camera, you know the shenanigans will happen!
