Such great information here, I can't thank you guys enough. I joined up months ago, and i've been soaking up information. Around the time winter settled in here, both of my power window switches on my driver door quit working. Luckily they quit working with the windows up lol. Crappy weather + no garage = dealing with it for a while. Many old threads here pointed toward the blue wire in my door wiring being broke inside the rubber boot. Well I had some free time and some nice weather today, so I took a stab at it. BINGO. Blue wire w/ black stripe broke. It actually had a previous splice in it from the prior owner lol. I cut that splice out, and added a couple inches of new wire to help remove some of the bind. Took about 30 minutes, and now I can go through a drive-thru window again! !!
