So, I was forced to take a 4 day holiday for Thanksgiving. I figured it would be a good idea to start on one of the projects I have been sitting on and a few others to keep me busy.

The first one was my gauge cluster. While walking through one of the local wrecking yards back in April, I came across an '05 Mountaineer and could not resist grabbing the gauge cluster. I finally got around to swapping out the gauge face and needles, as well as swapping out the lights for LEDs. In the pic I had 4 lights in backwards.

I also started on moving the shifter from the column to the floor. I messed up doing that, but it works. Reverse is N and Drive is 1😅 It drives, so I'll fix that when the weather is a little bit nicer. I really need a garage:banghead:I will post those pics when I get that done,

I also got a set of tires for it. The old tires have good tread, but were not good for winter driving. So I saved up and got a set of KO2s. Sadly they don't have them in 10 ply for the stock size, so I had to go with 235/75R16 which is the closest to the stock 29" tall tires, coming in at 29.3". Now, when my wallet quits crying in pain, I need to find a set of rims for it. In say, 5 years with the cost of rims. I do like the rims on the new Bronco...

Anyway, once I get things buttoned up and finished off, I also have the door panels out of an '07 to swap in. I wanted to make sure I had plenty to do over the weekend and I like the way they look over the gen 3.

Eventually, I'd like to put a manual in as well. I don't know, but I heard rumor about a T56 4WD conversion🤤 Probably not true, but what an idea.😁

So, watcha'all think?
