I'm talking about the 5-hose black box under the right side of the dash that controls what all the vac actuators are doing. Not sure if it's the same thing & same place for a manual AC system--I have the electronic system.
Anyways all my actuators seem to work except the heater valve by the engine. Valve is OK but not getting any vacuum. Can the hose be pulled out of the manifold on that vac switch--or are they glued in?
Also if anyone knows for sure--or will look--which direction opens the valve to let hot water into the core? Out or pulled in? (I'm assuming actuator sucked in for heat, out for cool)
EDIT TO ADD:
I was wrong -- it's out for heat. Took the zip-tie off. Mine probably works fine. It's so damn cold out I can't call for Cold so my valve is always open to let hot coolant through the core. Maybe in the spring I can find out if the vacuum switch is working.
