Well now that Im Elite i figured Id start a thread to document my SAS build...
I saw this on a YouTube video of a 69 bronco with full width axles, has anyone seen this before with the pivot point between the rear axle spring perch and the lead pack?

DB1 had something like those on his Ranger for a time. Said they made his rig very unstable.
Looks interesting idk about strong.. You could use a set of ballistic weldable joints and make a set of rear hangars for the shackle and it'll be strongI saw this on a YouTube video of a 69 bronco with full width axles, has anyone seen this before with the pivot point between the rear axle spring perch and the lead pack?

Ya for your upper shackle mount. Explorers are rubber bushings inside the frame the frame needs boxed a weak point. Didn't get to try them out they were for a Toyota designed around a flat leaf spring with more shackle angle allowing the shackle full droop. I wanted to use the ballistic joints as I they are rebuild able and offer more missalighnment.where did you mount those? Rear springs?

How are you gonna manage the hump in the frame ..I'm still lost at itinteresting. sometime this week ill be cutting the upper coil buckets for the frame side, i think im going to run about 3.5 inches forward, right at the rear-most bolt for the steering box.
