The U.S. Mint is thinking about changing the color of the paper used in making money. They intend to keep the ink black on the front and green on the back, but the paper itself will have colors added to make it more difficult to counterfit. What do you think?

i dont care what they do to money, as long as i see more of it ;)

Make it colour coded- blue for 5, red for 50 etc...;)

How are they going to do that? People can still counterfeit the older money? What are they planning on doing...going around and collecting ALL the old bills from everyone? BAD BAD Idea

It's been done in the past with our coins and bills. I beleive with silver certificates if you didn't turn them in by a certan time you were stuck with worthless paper.

Coins and bills slowly leave circulation all the time. Collection from banks, the post office, and other institutions go to the shredder if money is too old. Yes you could produce counterfeit older bills, but as they are less and less common they will be scrutinized more.

Colour those bad boyz....

man...Iwhenever I am in the US I am the most popular guy at the bar as I am tipping people $20.00's cuz I can't see the difference when it's dar k and I have had a few....
