Just got some Yokohama Geolandar AT-S's for the Explorer. Repainted the rims black while I was at it, then gave her a bath.

Let me know what you think!

You'll have to excuse the crappy BlackBerry pictures; it's all I had available.

You finally had the wheel painted huh? nice truck btw

I can't decide whether to paint my stock wheels or not..I go back and forth so much that I'm afraid I won't like it and will be stuck with it.
Oh and Go Hokies! maybe we'll play you guys in Charlotte this year.

I like it, leaving the centercaps chrome gives it that cop-like look.

Nice truck, and nice beamer or saab?
As for the other vehicle in the garage: no comment. :| :P

I mainly painted them because the clearcoat on the rims was starting to peel and crack, so it looked like poo. I'm pretty pleased with them. The only bad thing is I can't get the paint to stick really well, so whenever I get new tires or need the tires to be taken off (for whatever reason) the paint chips off. But under normal road conditions, the paint holds up fine.

And yes, we very well could meet in Charlotte. I was unsure about FSU, especially after that horrible Oklahoma game, but with the thrashing we gave Miami, I have some hope now! GO NOLES!

Pretty good considering I'm in school studying Criminal Justice. :D

It's a BMW. And yeah the Ridgeline is just...eh, like a van with a bed. :thumbdwn:

Thanks!
I painted the wheels a while ago. But I repainted them because they got all scratched up when I got the new tires mounted. But man it was worth it. My old tires were almost totally bald. These ones ride so much smoother, and the old ones used to vibrate the steering wheel at highway speeds....no more of that!
It was worth the extra time/effort to repaint them.

The Ex looks awesome!!

Thanks, Rondo. I need to clay bar and wax her again soon! The water is starting not to bead much anymore.

I need to clay & wax mine again before the snow flies. You have the intense sunshine and we have the snow. I guess we can't win!

Looks Great with the black rims with the RWL on the outside. I may be prejudiced because because our Explorer's are almost identical. My 2000 is also white but has dark titanium colored foot rails. Mine needs a bath also.
