The hub assembly?

Here goes, I've recently been getting some strange grinding and clicking noises from underneath the driverside of my 03 Explorer Sport a couple days ago and after reading a couple post came to the conclusion that its my hub assembly but if anybody else have any other advice of what it could be PLEASE PLEASE let me know somthing before I replace a hub assembly that I've already bought.

Then jack her up and check it out, check for play by grabing the tire at 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock and wiggle it.. If their play then it's garabge, also one other way I check bearing when theirs no play but still howls on the highway is grab ahold of a spring or control arm and spin the tire, if it feel rough then its also garbage.

**Don't do the tip about the spining the tire unless you have experince with it, don't want you to replace it by accident
