Wish us luck. Tommorrow 5 of us from ORR are getting together to do the Mojave Road (all 138 miles) this weekend. Should be a great trip, especially since we are limiting it to 4WD only.. It'll be a test of lots of parts on my truck. This will be the first real run of the RCD kit, PowerTrax No-Slip, Dueler M/Ts and Can-Back in the dirt. I can't wait to get out there and see how everything has come together.

We are going to meet at the AVI Casino in Laughlin at 2pm and hit the trail. If anyone happens to find themselves in the area, we'll be on Channel 20. I should have lots of great pictures when I get back.

I am envious. Have a blast. Lots of pics and a good write up (like the last desert run) will be awaited.

I thought you guys were going last weekend!!! Had I known you were doing it this week, I would've tried to work on seeing if I could ride with you guys. :( Well, let us know... I want the 'skinny' on the RCD lift and fitment.

Sean,

Do you have any pics of the Mojave River crossing? That's amazing there was that much water above ground in that river!!!

Thanks for the compliments guys! The truck handled the desert great. Can't wait to get out there again.

Only about 2/3s of the pics are posted, so check again for the rest tommorrow night. Thats when the river crossing will be posted.

I'm jealous!

I have planned this trip for a year, but didn't find any one to join me. I gotta join your next trip. Even the GPS has the route mapped!

Check back now, all the pics are posted. And that GPS plot is only about half the road, but it is a good start. I wish some of you guys could have made it, it was a great trip.

It was a great run and Sean did an exceptional job planning it. Hopefully it will be a Ranger/Explorer run next year, oh yeah, we are planning on making this a yearly run!:D

Yeah, Tim and I are going to make this a yearly October Excursion. We are thinking about a Death Valley Spring run, too. ;)

I *Love* Death Valley!

That park is the bomb! I had a great time crossing Hunter Mounain while there was a nice sheeting of ice on its face one spring. The number of backroads, and the scenery are incredible. I never attempted Lippencott Mine Road, but I hear its not for the faint of heart. Let me know what week you'll choose, and maybe me and the Mrs. can go with you!

How come I have to live sooooo far east.

Maybe next year I will do some traveling far.
