Well here it is again. It's like it comes every year or something. I guess I shouldn't hate it too much since I don't have a girlfriend to spend it with so that means no $$$ gone. All it does is remind me I have no one...except you guys.

I do love that money. My best friend (getting married this year) has 2 jobs, and yet he has no money. The girlfriend...the endless money pit.

I spent a total of $200 on both her Valentine's and our 2nd anniversary presents (2 days after Valentine's Day). One was a couple of DVD's and tickets for a concert. That's not including the romantic dinner I'll be taking her to either. I'm soooo broke!!!

Earlier i called this chick that i have been seeing and simply asked if she'd be my valentine...

She replied that she hates V-day with a passion and i really didn't understand that. And that she wouldn't be my valentine just because she didn't like the day.

Really weird. I almost took offensively. Eh, on the other hand if we do start dating exclusevly for a year i have nothing to worry about when next v-day rolls around......hmmmmmm

Did you ever know someone who goes ALL out for V-day? A coworker of mine is doing "something special" for his wife every day for the week before V-day. Flowers Monday, Movie Tuesday, etc. Blech

Valentines is such a crock of poo, and has been played out by the card companies, jewelry stores, and flower shops. When is my holiday? There's no day when men get anything for no apparent reason. Yeah, that's right. I'm bitter.

hell yah. somtimes i get so sick of buying presents every year when i could be buying somthing useful like wheels or a locker that i really need. butim just trapped in a web of buying stuff. i just cant seem to get out.

My dad does that for my mom's birthday, because there anniversary is 2 day's after her birthday, I think he spent between $50-100 each day of the week and nice presents. But I think this V-day is going to be spent like last years, w/ other single friends

Overrated... but I guess it's for the ***** that don't do anything throughout the year and need a special day to ensure their s/o gets something romantic.

I randomly get her flowers, not always roses, but a nice bouquet for the table perhaps, just to have something nice there, but they are basically for her most times. I will clean her car, or rainx her windows while she's sleeping if its going to rain the next day or 3...
I'm not a big ValDay fan, but its necessary perhaps.
I may not do anything too grand as our 5th anniv is this August and that means a rock or something nice in the way of jewelry probably... heh

I put a cap at $20 on the spending limits for me and my girlfriend. Its totally not necessary to spend all the money to show someone how much you love them, there are many other ways . We are prob going to pack a bag lunch and drive up the mountains for the day...
