The Official Valentines hate thread

I heard on the radio today that more men break up with their girlfriends this time of year more than any other time of the year because of the pressure of getting someone a Valentines gift. So if you act fast you might just catch some chick on the rebound so you don't have to be alone this coming Saturday.

Valentine's Day is overrated and for girls. That is why my friends and I came up with a day for MEN. So everyone pay attention and mark this down on your calendars.

Alright, so Valentine's Day is a lovey dovey day for girls. What do us guys get out of it? Not a thing but an empyt wallet, unless you got her something extra special then you might get a present. That's besides the point. The point is that it's not for guys, we don't want flowers, chocolate or any stuff animal. Guys need a day when they can get something they want. So that's when we came up with....Steak and a BJ Day. That's right, mark it down on your calendars, March 20 is Steak and a BJ Day. Last year was the first year of this glorious day for men. Seeing as how it was only limited to a few guys, no one took part (meaning we don't have any girls). So this year it's time to spread the wealth. I want everyone to tell everyone they know that March 20 is Steak and a BJ Day. That's right a big juicy steak and a big juicy, well you know what .

I just thougth I'd let all of you in on the wonderful day and I hope it will catch on .

You all just hate the day cause you have no one. But I hear ya..., I know how it is, we all been there. I just got married last year, this are 1st V day married. (what sucks is her b-day is two weeks later) Just fork out for some flowers and dinner, that all. No biggie! Mine told me were gonna stay in bed all day and she has some supprises for me

I do understand though guys, I do.

But having someone can be good too...After all I do have Two Explorers to play with!

Last Valentine's day brought teh suck in a big way for me. That was the day I bought the 5.9 and got hit driving home from the dealership. Which caused me to miss the Laker game that I had tickets for. So this will be the first V-Day in a while where:

1) I have no girlfriend
2) Nothing chitty happens
3) Hopefully

I can't believe how much people spend on their girlfriends. I once bought a girl a necklace for her birthday and did nice stuff for her all the time. It totally wasn't worth it. Eventually she was just such a drain that I had to get rid of her and get rid of her fast. I'm enjoying the single life for now, but think that I need to pick up a girl sometime after this weekend so I have until December to decide if I want to keep her around or not. Hopefully her birthday isn't between V-Day and X-mas.

Nothing I wouldn't do to mine if I had the $$$$$. Being the sole support of your two kids(their fathers are deceased) doesn't leave you with a whole lot of it, and when I do have extra, something always comes up...like something my kids need or something that needs to be fixed or maintained on the Explorer (this week, oil change)

I still wouldn't go as crazy as some of you though, I'm thinking of a 3 inch body lift with spacers and shackles and 32's...any more than that and I won't be able to climb up in it.

Valentine's Day wasn't that bad at all. Abby and I had a great time!! Even though we had to wait 2 freakin' hours at Olive Garden and ate $55 worth of food, then we went to see 50 First Dates. We got home after the movie and just "chill" and talked the rest of the night. It was great!!

So in total:
DVD: $22
Concert tix for our 2nd year anniversary (2/16): $115
2 Cards: $9
Dinner: $55
Total: $201

I am officially broke!!!
