- 2003 XLT NBX V6
My old 2001 XLT was hit while parked out in front of my house a few days before new years by a drunk driver. It is a total loss. I have settled with his insurance company and I'm in the process of looking for a new used X.
I have found a 2003 that has been hit in the rear. I took it to my mechanic we put it up on the lift and can see that a new left side lower rear "A" arm was put on. The mechanic says that it looks like it was done proper. There is no sign of frame or body welding. Also a new tailgate was put on and the paint job looks great. My question is what else should I look for. There is also a worn control arm up front that the seller is going to replace for me. We have agreed to have a four wheel alignment done before I buy the car.
Thanks,
Mark
