I am pretty new to the site and seeing some of the Exlorers on here has made me want to make some changes to my 2004 Explorer.

I was going to get the Rancho Quick Lifts but after doing some reading on here I think the BTF spacers are the way to go? I want to bring it up a little but I also want the front to be level with the back. I saw one Explorer on here that the owner said after the BTF lift the front is about 1/10 higher then the rear. I would like to avoid that. Suggestions?

Right now I have the stock 16 inch wheels. I found some Mamba wheels that I like but they will have to be 17 inch. What size tires should I go with?

Thanks
Eric

Most people who are looking to level out order front spacers that are .50" taller than the rear ones, i.e., 2.25" front/1.75" rear.

If you are looking for tires to fit a 17" rim, try 265/70/17, that's about a 31.5"-32" tire and will fit even with no lift.
