The other morning I left the house at about 6:00 AM and the inside of my windshield kept fogging up. The overnight temp was in the mid to high 60's and the temp when I left was in the high 60's to low 70's. I was using the AC the day before but shut it off when I parked the Ex: Fan on 1, Temp on cold, Vent Selection on off.
I have the blend door issue and the fresh/recirc door issue, so I keep the temp set on cold for fear I won't get it off hot. One time, and only one time, the vent selection didn't work and it was briefly stuck on defrost. I don't know if these issues are related.
I had to keep using the defroster (set on cold) to clear my windshield. I noticed the fogging of the windshield stopped when I rolled down my 2 front windows when It started getting warmer out.
In the past, on my older cars, when the inside of the windshield fogged for no apparent reason it was usually a bad heater core. Thing is I don't smell anti-freeze inside or outside the Ex.
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks - Rondo
