Throttle Body Cover Removal

Hello everyone--I am almost embarrassed to ask this question but I'm now to dang frustrated to care. I am trying to get to my IAC valve to clean it and I can't even remove the throttle body cover. I have an 02 eb with the v8. The bolt head is hollow and square--that is, it has four sides. When I first looked at it I thought I would just need an allen wrench but the bolts only have four sides. What tool do I need? Thanks for any help!

ok-I was able to spend a little more time today than last night after work. I figured out it wasn't a bolt-- it was some weird kind of nut. I used the 3/8 male end of a socket wrench to get them started and then just turned them by hand.
