throttle cable mod

hey guys i did the throttle cable mod and then i read about how it could screw up the tranny cable too but when i looked i noticed i dont even have a tranny cable on the gas peddle like other trucks. so if i dont have the cable then the mod wont affect my shifting will it . i have a 95 4x4 xlt 4 door. give me some feedback guys.

No, it just improves throttle response.

only the 1st gen. explorers have the tranny linkage to worry about. 95-up's only have the throttle cable.
