Hey guys im new to this forum. I have actually found many answers prior to this post when i was not a member and have stumbled upon yet another minor issue. I have recently changed all shocks and body mounts as well as lower ball joints. Shocks are now Rancho RS9000's, body mounts are polyurethane and lower ball joints are Moog. Since my recent upgrades i have noticed i have thumping noise when turning. If i turn calm (extremely slow) you dont hear anything. If i turn under normal driving conditions there is a thump when starting the turn and then another coming back from the turn. Im sure its something i have done or something i have overlooked. Any idea??? :banghead:

End links?

Ill look at that i guess i just find it odd that from a squeaky front end i found my body mounts rotted, no big deal. then i find my lower ball joints completely shot, no biggy. Front struts blown, no biggy. and now after all these repairs now endlinks? Not to mention i didnt have this thumping before i changed all those parts. But hey i guess ill look into the end links as well. Sorry just frustrated. Seems like all these repairs are not taking me out of a vehicle just driving me nuts. Thanks for the thought:thumbsup:

End links?

That's my first guess as well. Our '93 Aerostar would make a loud thump when turning. Turned out the lower hole was hogged out and the bushing would pop in and out of the hole, mostly on turns.

At least they're cheap and a ten minute job.

:banghead:Thanks guys but found that the front end links are in good condition. Also found the thump is coming from both the front and back
:salute::shoot:

Okay guys finally found the clunking noise. Apparently my rear passenger side leaf spring bushing is worn and when i turn is making the clunking noise i was referring to. Can i get Polyurethane bushings for the leaf springs? I have searched and cant seem to find anything. PLEASSE HELP!!!
