I recently bought a 2002 Ford Explorer and everything was fine.
I had to take out the rear seats to make room and it was then that I started noticing a ticking noise from the rear passenger tire. It starts at around 80km/h and stays at higher speeds. It sounds like 10 ticks/second and doesn't sound faster at 120km/h.
I originally thought it was just something in the interior cause by me taking out the seats (like those hinged flap behind the seats).
Well, I was on the highway beside someone I knew and he called me and told me my rear wheel was ticking loudly!
I checked the tire for rocks but everything looks fine...
What else could it be? It doesn't really bother me as I usually have the stereo on and can't hear it
