Hey all,
I am planning on doing a lot of front end stuff this weekend and I was reading through my Chiltons and Haynes manuals. My question is, to seperate the tie rod ends, should you use a pitman arm puller or the fork like tie rod seperator tool? The Haynes says to use the pitman arm puller, would this cause less damage to the tie rod instead of pounding on it with the seperator tool? Also, the manual say not to use any of the fasteners over again, is this a load of crap?
