I’ve been told the scheduling process has to do with each order’s specific options, guys. The order is submitted by the dealer and then the system groups them together automatically to allow for the fastest overall production time. It could also be that we didn't have the parts ready to build the order, so it would be delayed a bit.

I wonder what options Dexter Morgan had. Wish it was mine but still good to hear orders are moving now.

Should gradually start seeing more of them now that Ford has started invoicing and building units. Last week Tuesday or Wednesday was the first time I saw a few of them show up online. They were for units scheduled to build this week...

Really anxious as to when they are going to start the build, I'm hoping it will be done in time for our trip to Arizona in December to pick up our baby we are adopting!!

Thank ya 13Sport! we are very excited about both new additions! This is also our first explorer, not new to Ford, we owned an expedition in 2000 and loved it and my company vehicle is a Transit Connect

Mine's still on order from the factory. This was a call from a dealer that didn't do his due dilligence in August when I first began shopping around. I guess then since there was no imminent sale they didn't want to be bothered to return my calls or emails.

It should soon for some orders to be delievered. the dealer said ours was built and waiting to be shipped.

Hopefully we are getting close.... Have not heard on our build date, but ordered the 14th of June. I think the wait will be worth it, but sure wish they would hurry the hell up!!!

Give or take a few weeks they are on schedule... It's the anticipation which is the problem. At least for us it is.

White, adaptive cruise, tow, 6 passenger, summer tires.

Here lately I been thinking of going with the Jeep SRT-8.

I have been toying with the same thing (SRT8), but in the end, bigger car, 3rd row, reg fuel, 15K less, much better MPG. So, I will use the Sport13 for the fam and will buy a toy car for me in a few years... some form of high performance mustang. AMEN

Yep, we ordered in June as well, and it has been a long wait. We have considered the SRT8 and others as well. Not sure that we will be able to hold out too much longer. Sharing my expedition with our 17 year old. In the next few weeks, our schedules will be difficult to hash out sharing one vehicle, so I hope that delivery will be sooner than later. To my knowledge there have not been any deliveries to Southern Cal. dealers. When they arrive, I definately will go and test drive.

An inside source has confirmed my build date on 10/15 and has provided a VIN. I have not heard from the dealer or Cory yet.

I am hopeful for an early November delivery.
