Timing Chain

My 03 xlt has a timing chain rattle. Tensioners have been replaced. Is there anything else I can do that might solve the issue before teardown or engine replacement. It only has 132k miles.

When rattle?

Does the chain rattle only at engine startup? Does it rattle at midrange rpm even after warmed up? Timing chain rattle resolution process - SOHC V6

Loudest at startup, but it does happen occasionally at midrange rpm after warm up. Honestly there is no consistency it can get real loud and suddenly be quiet. Thanks for the link, I will study.
