I have a 2007 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer edition. I recently had a new throttle body and fuel pump put in it. When I got it back it had a tire monitor fault reading. I took it to my local mechanic. All the sensors in the tire are working but they could not get the tire monitor fault to reset. How can I fix this.

Burn it to the ground, that's the only sure fix I know of. Seriously. I wish there was a way to disable all TPMS operation: nothing but problems in my '07 with it, and warranty is long gone.

This (FordTechMakuloco) vid might help:

I have basically given up, since my truck has extensive aftermarket audio/video setup from previous owner. In short, no end of things that could be causing interference and troublesome fault codes.

I wish you best of luck.
