right now my tire pressure is at 35psi... i was thinking of bumping it up to 40 for the increase in gas mileage. any problems with this?

the tires are michellin (i'll check exact specs in the a.m.)

Your ride might be a lil harsher & the tires might also wear down faster..

32-35 is probably a fair average. To find your vehicles optimum tire pressure. Air all your tires to around 35-40psi. Make marks across the whole tread width with chalk. Now drive back and forth in a straight line for about 15 feet. You will probably see the chalk worn off the center but not the edges. Drop by a pound and repeat. It may take a couple repeats, but when you are at the right pressure you should evenly wear off all the chalk. Note if chalk remains in center the tires need more air. Also front to back air ressure may be different due to load variance.
