I need some help. My truck is all stock minus the intake. Ive been hearring a rubbing noise as of recent and couldn't figure it out. During the search I found that the connecting rod on the passenger side is missing the rubber spacer (sorry dont remember technical names at the moment, been one of those days) and also that the lower ball joints are going bad. It makes the rubbing noise ever4ytime I take a left so I looked harder on the passenger side. While checking the brakes to see if that was the issue, they were fine, I noticed that the sway bar that goes the width of the body has a shiny rub right where the tire would touch if it could. I need to know what could cause this so I know which parts to change first. Oh , forgot to mention, tire has no wabble to it but truck does at high speeds and a costant squeek that matches with speed.
Thanks

ignore this post after digging further into the issue i figured out that its not the tire but the axle rubbing on the suspension.

Ok so i never did figure out why the rub spots appeared on the strut and the sway bar but when my ABS light came on I got an idea as to what the issue was. I jacked my explorer up took off the tire and could see that the hub was basically falling apart.
