Ok so i'm lifting my X in summer, end of story. But i got a few questions. I was planning on getting a 4 inch lift and 32s or 33s with Black rims.
1. - Now, if i get 33's will i need to trim my fenders ('94 XLT)?
2. - Is there a cheaper/better way i can get a 4 inch lift rather than spending a grand on a lift kit? If so where can i get new shocks that will fit?
3. - I live in Chicago so they put salt on the roads in winter, i've heard it'll eat away at the black paint, true?
4. - I'm thinking about M/Ts but i was curious if they are any good in the snow. If not i'll prolly just get a set of M/Ts for offroad and summer and get a set of A/Ts for winter.
5. - From my take i should regear to 4.56s, where can i get a set?
6. - Last question =). This is actually about Lockers, i hear manual lockers are alot better, would i be able to wire up a switch to the cab to turn the lockers on/off or would i actually have to get under there? At first i was thiking auto lockers then went around looking at posts and got kinda iffy about it.
P.S. I had a 93 and could do a brake torque, now in my 94 i cant....why the hell not? Locking Diff?
