Tires Height or Width = Rubbing?

I have a '99 X Sport that I plan on doing a TT/Warrior and I'm curious if I could fit 265/75-16's with out a BL. These tires are basically a 32x10.50, so I'm curious if the extra 1" will cause rubbing. And does anybody know if 265/70-16 (31x10.50) fit stock on Sports? Or do the boddy cladding/wheel flares cause the tires to rub? Thanks y'all, any help for a newby would be appreciated.

I run them. No rubbing except for top of front fenderwell and side of the rear one. So basically there is no rubbing with a 2.25" TT and shackles.

So, basically your tires only rub when you have the suspension fully compressed? Also, how bad did the 265/75's throw your speedometer out of whack? One more thing... how does your truck pull with these tires and your 3.73 diff? I think I have a 4.10 but i'm not sure, I have the SOHC so hopefully there's 4.10 back there. Thanks

When I'm going fast and hit a very big bump it will rub, and it's not loud at all.
I did have to the plastic trim slightly at the back. No big deal though. It's about 3 mph off, not worried about it at all though.
About the acceleration? Mine is pretty awful and it knocked the engine out of it's powerband. But I have 3.73's. You have 4.10's and should be just fine.

extened shocks arent needed with TT

Yep TT doesn't change the travel. Oh, and I don't recommend them. I run Gabriel VST's now and they are a bit better and much cheaper. In the rear they should be extended though.

im excited to get my 31's!! although now that i read how horrible the accelration is im alot less excited to get them :( especially since ive got 3.27 (?) diffy :( oh well, it'll look good!!! :D
