From the FAQ

What are the biggest tires that fit on a gen 1 Sport Trac without a lift?

Answer
265/70-16 - Possible chance of slight rub lock to lock. The 265's are 30.5" tall, and that dimension can vary from tire to tire, mfg to mfg. Some members report running 275/70/16 with minor rubbing as well.

so i should pass on this deal ? no sense in buying them if they might rub .

No, you should buy them and send them down the mountain to your buddy in Denver ............... ME !!:D:D

I think what's being said is that if you turn really sharp in either direction, and like maybe really sharp uphill, they "may" rub a bit. I don't remember, did you give your rear end ratio in a previous post? If you have the 4.10's I wouldn't worry about it but if you have the 3.73's it may act a little bit sluggish since you will be raising your final drive ratio just a hair.

mine has the 4.10 rear, so thats a good sign, ill just have to kick it around and see if i can get a better deal on them. thanks
