Finally got my Torque monster headers. I waited a full year but I will be putting them in and can't wait for the results but instead of using the supplied exhaust manifold gaskets I. Will be using copper,I think that they will be better in the long run and seal better

I used cooper and they work well
However the remflex gaskets work waaaay better.
The first set of tmh I did I used the supplied gaskets that was in like 2005
I have never used the supplies gaskets again because they won’t seal up and blow out
This is not a job you want to do over and over

There are
Several
Ports where the only access to the fastener is with a wrench and you must tighten the header to the head evenly otherwise the bolts will be too long to get wrench on

I have a set of special
Tools I use for this and I have some special header Bolts I use as well
I shaved a socket down to be very shallow and I cut a wrench in half so I can use the box end with a small cheater pipe

I have installed about 5-10 sets of these headers

Look at the remflex gaskets
Better then copper

They are gaskets with metal in the middle

No remflex are soft composite
Material that crushes and seals permanently

Huge upgrade over those welded manifolds!
You will feel the
Improvement money well spent

Two years ago+
once you have the new drivers side you are wondering why it was ever two pieces lol

The modifications I've made are high flow water pump and thermostat which made a big difference along with the twin electric fans. But I want to put dual exhaust after the cats. I don't seem to find anything. I guess it's a custom make. I do have the Gibson currently which is definitely better than stock.

I'm glad to hear that you received your headers, even if it was after a full year. I ordered mine in October '22 and still waiting!

He did a great job just stay on him very nicely though. And say how are we doing with the headers? I sent him nothing but encouraging messages I know hes a one man show. It's worth the wait they are beautiful. As far as the remflex exhaust gas gets I have to figure out how to get them amazon will not ship them to california

I’m assuming nobody will ship those to California now? Summit? Jegs? Soooo stupid

They carry remflex gaskets at my local cat quest
The copper gaskets work but not as well as remflex and you want good thick gaskets with the tmh

Wait, why won’t Amazon ship them to CA?

Probably some cancer causing thing. Hey does anybody know if anybody makes Duel exhaust for 98 5.0 I have the Gibson. Exhaust it is better but won't do exhaust from the cat back? I guess it's a custom build.

It’s a custom
Build, it is pretty simple come off the stock v8 Downpipes and then run 2.25” pipes directly into a dual inlet single outlet muffler, then run a 2.5” pipe out the back

Where are you in California? I'm in Arizona and don't mind ordering some gaskets and forwarding them along if that helps your situation. I'm also visiting San Diego for a week during July 4th, if that were convenient somehow.

San Jose. It's OKI can send them to my mom's house in Texas and have them forward it to here.

Are the TMH direct replacement for stock? Can I use stock exhaust with them?

At the TMH direct replacement for stock? Can I use stock exhaust with them?
yes sir the TMH are bolt in hand go. very tight but nonetheless bolt in. the rest stock parts will continue to work with it

Sweeeet they're still making them! I'll be sending my order in soon!

@JOHNNYFARGO68
Do the headers have the CARB EO number stamped on them with the TMH part numbers? Apparently, CARB changed the rules a few years back and said both were required to be on the part to pass smog.
