Did you jack it up and take the load off the torsion bar ? also a cheap plumbers torch will help , heat it up then spray with pb

@delexploder
No I didnt jack it up lol I thought I seen videos of guys just ratcheting it
But ill try jacking up , plumbers torch and pb blaster
Thank You :)

Yea you have to relieve the pressure off of it and actually need a special pulley tool to remove it properly (even though there are a lot of ways on the internet to get around the tool) but your not removing it just tightening it. Be careful, I’ve know guys that have torqued it too much and broke it off. I gained about 2-3 inches in the front with a torsion twist but you def need an alignment once you do it

I tryed again to Twist the Torsion Bolts but they wouldnt budge at all with Truck Jacked up

any other solutions although I didnt heat up with Plumbers Torch

Torsion bolt threads are HEAVILY coated with Ford's industrial strength blue loctite. If you've ever replaced body mounts or loosened the bed bolts it's the same stuff Ford says may require up to 350 ft/lbs. of torque to loosen. Use any torch on the small bolt heads for 20-30 seconds to soften the Loctite enough to turn the bolts. If available use a SIX point standard socket with the front tires off the ground.

Thank You for that information Very hard to get 350 ft/lbs torque on any Bolt; especially being under the Truck. Now do I put the torch right on the head ( not to close) or on the head and try to put some heat on threads ?? and what do you mean by SIX point standar socket... do you mean like a SIX point metric Socket ?

Thanks Again

Sorry, meant a six point (13mm) standard LENGTH socket after heating the bolt HEAD. Use a breaker bar or cheater pipe on the ratchet if needed. Again, get alignment checked after jouncing and the ride height settles.
