Towing-21 ft maxum. 2300 lbs

My current explorer has the death rattle for the timing chain, and I am looking for a new one. Can I pull a 21 ft boat with a combined trailer boat weight of approx just under 4k with. 2000 shock 4x4 and stock trailer hitch? I will add a trams cooler. I have done the research and it looks like this is acceptable and not near max.

The stock hitch (bumper) is rated at 3500 lbs, so you might have a problem there. There are guides available to indicate what your truck is capable of.
