Just wondering if anyone could answer this. I've got an 06 Explorer with 18" chrome clad rims. Only 1 maybe 2 are still in decent shape (chrome peeling etc) So I found a set of 3 used for a decent price provided they are in good shape. The question is, they have the sensors that come with the rims, are they compatible with my Explorer's computer or are the sensors calibrated to THAT specific vehicle? They would no doubt be the same type, says from an 07, but are the sensors only functional to his Explorer, not mine? Or are they pretty much universal, at least in similar Ford products say?
