Anyone know the capacity of the stock rear bumper on a 90 B2 for towing? I want to tow a double jetski trailer that has a total weight of 2200#s. I don't want to put on a reciever if I don't have to because all that I've seen hang too low.

I believe the bumper mount is rated for 2000lbs IIRC.

I would say you'll probably be OK even though you're just a small hair over it (there's always some safety margin built into stuff like that). I certainly wouldn't attempt to tow something weighing 3000lbs with it however. Make sure you don't have any rust compromising the integrity of your frame or the bumper itself though.

Thanks for the reply. I checked the trailer loaded and it is 1950# so I should be ok til I can find the time to build a bumper with reciever in it.
