I've got a 1994 Ford Explorer 4x4 with the automatic transmission and a frame mounted hitch and was wanting the max trailer weight for it would be. I've put a picture of my door sticker as well a picture of my trailers and was wanting to know if I could get by with towing maybe a ton in the pickup box trailer and nothing heaving than a few farm tractor tires or something no heavier than a regular fridge without blowing up the automatic transmission. If anybody could help me out without any information or input here it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
