Trailer wiring question

I've got a factory plug accessible from underneath the rear bumper behind the drivers side tail light. It looks to have space for 8 pins, but only four have contacts in them. I can't find 12v at any of those contacts with my headlights on.

Any ideas?

start by checking your fuses.

I did not expect different fuses for the trailer wiring. Found a blown fuse, thanks for the pointer!
