Trans Fluid Gone Missing!!!!

Hey guys, got a weird problem. For some odd reason I'm losing transmission fluid, thing is it is not leaking at all no spots on the driveway no sign of leakages. Now I am pretty sure transmissions don't burn oil, well at least not at a high rate. So I'm wondering where could the fluid be going. A thought I had going in my mind was that the fluid was sonly leaking while in gear, making it impossible to know that its leaking by looking on the driveway?

I also came across something saying that the engine can possibly extract transmission oil from the transmission. Is this true? If so why would this happen?

Replace your transmission modulator. It is a diaphragm and it is leaking, causing ATF to get in your motor.

Welcome to this forum! The modulator is on the passenger's side of the transmission to the rear of the 2 servo pistons.

hmmm... I will check that in the morning.
Is there any other possible situation other than this?

I didn't realize my modulator was bad until it started blowing vacuum lines and caps off the tree. You could pull the lines off and see if its real slick.

You could pull off the vacuum hose to see if the fluid is in there.
