Hello,
I want to add a transmission cooler to my 5R55W. My Explorer is an 03' with the V6 4.0 SOHC motor. Any suggestions on size and supplier? I'll prolly add a temp gauge also.
Thanks,
John

I believe all 2002-2005 Explorers came with a trans cooler. Pull the plastic piece off that is on top of the radiator/condenser (has the belt diagrams on it.) Between the radiator and AC condenser, at the bottom, you'll see the cooler.

Easier way, look to the front of the engine, down near the bottom of the radiator on the passenger side. Should see two 3/8ish sized hoses going to a cooler.

Well I'll be double dogged!
There it is between the radiator and AC coolers.
Thanks for the help,
John
