Welcome To The Forum! If you have an electric shift you can use one from a 91-94 Explorer and 90-97 Ranger if you have a manual shift its the same thing. But before you replace why are you replacing it?

i changed the electric shift once before and the new one burned up it went into four wheel drive one time . when i took the electric shift back off the thing it attaches to was all chewed up,and bent. i have owned it for about 6 years and it never had 4 wheel drive it is time it does

Ok, we were just double checking to make sure you weren't replacing it if you were dealing with a common problem.

The electric motor needing rebuilt!
Since you're gonna change it out I'd go with a B-W manual
