Transfer case ID help

I have a 98 explorer 4.0ohv with manual transmission and electric shift 4405 transfer case. The transfer case is going out with over an inch of play in the chain. Car-parts.com list 3 transfer cases. How do I know which I have? The ID plate is missing. Are all three interchangeable? Any info will help

If you clean it off there should be a sticker on the lower left of the case. It is a borg warner sticker, not the tag ford puts on. They're usually covered in grime and you have to clean off the case to see it.
