The shift motor on my 98 sport 5spd standard is not shifting to 4 low.
I pulled the t case from my 2000 with the shift motor attached
How do I remove the plugs that go into the t case so I can switch the motor, I don't want to force anything, or cut and splice wires?

Use a 10mm socket, remove the retaining bolt from each of the two speed sensors. Those are plastic, so work them out very carefully, a slight twisting motion will help them come loose. For the Brown Wire, go into the main connector, and using needle-nose pliers, pull the red terminal lock. That will enable you to pull the Brown Wire out of the main connector. Do it in reverse to re-install.

Thanks for your help, but I got it done yesterday.
Ipulled all the wires out of the main connector that went to the Tcase, and the plugged them back into the new shift motor connector. I could not work the plastic connectors out of the Tcase. they are real fragile.
