Transfer Case to Trans. Gasket

Replacing the transfer case in my 93 explorer and the gasket that is there ripped. None of the dealerships around me have one. Is there some type of rtv that I can use. Please help the vehicle is my daily driver so any help is appreaciated. Victor

We bought some gasket material, and made our own. Could not find one either. However Gret RTV would probally work.

I just used black RTV (used to be called "great stuff" I think).. It comes in what looks like a cheese-wiz container.

RTV will work in your situation since you probably dont remove the transfer case very often.

hmmm i had no problem finding one when i did my tcase swap a few months back....
