Yesterday, I went to O'Reilly Auto Parts to get two WIX tranny filters (58841) for my 4WD trucks. I use Wix since they are re-boxed MicroFelt (made in USA) filters.
Much to my surprise (OK, disgust,) one, in the older looking box, is a MicroFelt. The other was made in China! Has WIX lost their mind?!?!?!?!
Does anyone know if Fram and Motorcraft are still reboxing MicroFelt filters? If not, where can I get one?
I need to call WIX and voice my concern.
