Transmission fluid & service question

Hello, New member here.

I have a 2006 4.0l Explorer, now at 162,000. miles. It's time to change the transmission fluid and filter,
What else should I be thinking about as far as trans is concerned ? I have Amsoil fluid in it now and will
will replace with the same. Not having any issues with transmission

Welcome. 162,000 miles with no issues wow. When did you change it last. (Mileage wise)

Last fluid and filter change was @ 69,564. 07/2013.

With that miles with no issues I would keep doing what you are doing. Don't look for trouble if everything is working as it should. If I were going to change anything I would shorten up the change with filter every 50,000 miles. Happy to see those miles on that trans.

got sidetracked here lately, I did read your posts regarding your trans fluid change, drop pan change
filter add fluid and replace, no flush. How often did you change the fluid? (drain and replace.)
Hopefully will get it changed this week.
