Hi Guys
Hope some could help me out. I have a 95 Explorer 4x4. Couple days ago I drove it and everything seemed ok. I parked it then later on I went out to go somewhere I put it in reverse and all I heard was a chain noise and did not have reverse. I had drive. I got home again then about a hour later I left again going down the street I lost drive and it was making the same noise. Then it would jump in and out of drive. Then I had nothing and when I put it in park the noise would stop and the explorer rolled. I finally had to put it in 4wheel low to get it home. Could some one tell me if my problem is the transmission or the transfer case?
