as racprops said ...check both ends of linkage........also front of shifter ...little round plug type dohickey...open...push long screwdriver into it...manual shifter release.....
Transmission reverse was very weak. So pulled it and having it rebuild. Drove great in forward but if a slight incline for reverse would stop. Also if I have a little throttle would just rev up no transfer to drive.
