So wondering what’s going on with my trans if I’m almost at the point of a rebuild. It shifts fine when completely warm for a while but when only a little warm takes forever to shift to another gear from 3rd on. Also any time on the freeway it shifts down a lot! What’s this sound like to you guys? Also do transfer cases leak a lot? In the summer bottom of my pan was always soaked couldn’t find it coming from anywhere besides looked like the t case but I know that’s separate.

It could be it is low on fluid. I would check it first and then see if there are any codes being thrown. If you are seeing signs of a fluid leak around the transmission pan then you are likely low on fluid. What I would do is a pan drop, change the filter, refill and find the source of the leak and fix it. Do not have it flushed.
