Transmission Vaccum Valve

I just replaced the vacum valve on my transmission and now the truck won't shift right. The new valve came with an adjustment screw and it says not to turn the screw more than four turns. What next?

Did you remember to put the pin back in? Your sounds like a classic case where the pin (or rod) didn't get put back in.... see the "A4LD Rebuild Diary" in the useful threads forum....

The pin sounds like the problem to me. I have seen a lot of people simply drop it by accident when replacing the modulator valve.
