My friend has a 2006 Explorer and after he replaced his battery it suddenly wont shift. It sits in 2nd or 3rd gear all the time, makes it very hard to get going from a complete stop. There's a wrench on the display panel, and the check engine light came on. I ran a scan and came up with about 30 codes, unbelievable, no way every transmission code should come up at once.
Any ideas? This started when he replaced his battery.
