Bump for those who might want to rethink Treadwrights.
I love their tires, but I'm ready to give up on Treadwright the company. A few weeks ago I ordered my fourth set of Treadwrights (Guard Dog MT) and clearly told rep 'Skyler' I was ordering Kedge Grip (as in ALL my prior orders). This time they decided for no reason to ship me the standard (non-Kedge) treads instead. This might not sound like a big deal, but in snow driving on MTs, the Kedge grip 'siping' is the difference between serious grip and slip-n-slide.
Having ordered from Treadwright so many times before, I never even looked at the treads before getting them mounted. Yeah, I know I'm at fault for not checking them... but now I've got brand new tires on my truck that I'm going to have to remove or wait until spring to use.
The worse part is my calls to Treadwright support result in endless hold, endless ring or disconnects. When I call sales, they acknowledge the mistake and say "we'll review our call records" and "we will educate our sales staff", but nothing more.
Nice. I'm so happy they will improve their customer service at my expense. As soon as I can donate these tires to someone who does not need them for snow/ice , I'll be going back to ordering brand names from Tire Rack.
