trouble shifting out of park after fluid change 5r55w tranny

So ive had trouble with o/d light blinking in my 02 explorer 4.0 w/ 5r55w tranny. i replaced the valve body and selonoid pack with new parts and of coarse new filter and gaskets with motorcraft mercon v. only ploblem now is that it slipps when shifting out of P untill i get to 1500-2000 rpms then jams into gear..... other than that once im going it seems to do good in other gears. i took 6 qts out and put 5 back in until day 2 (once the fluid had been running into new parts) then added another qt, it seems to have made it better half the time but still a bit of delay and the other half of the time its the same story. this problem didnt exist before new fluid..... any thoughts?
