Trouble with 4 wheel drive module wiring.

I just hooked up a 4 wheel drive module in my 94' Explorer and all the colors matched except two so i wasn't sure which go together. I tried both pairs and I tried switching them but nothing seems to work. On the end of my module I have orange w/ black stripe, white w/ purple stripe, orange, black, yellow, brown, and black w/ white stripe. Coming from the car I have brown w/ orange stripe that is grounded, white w/ purple stripe, orange, black, yellow, brown, and green w/ lime stripe. The ones in red are the 2 pairs that don't match. On my module are the orange w/ black stripe and the black w/ white stripe. On the wiring harness are the green w/ lime stripe and the brown w/ orange stripe. If anyone has any idea please let me know. Thanks

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the transmissions & transfer cases section. I would suggest that you get a schematic diagram before doing any further work. The wrong wiring might damage the new module.
